WHAT IS THE EUROPEAN MONEY QUIZ

HOW TO TRAIN AND PARTICIPATE

The European Money Quiz is a European competition on financial literacy for 13-15 year-olds. To participate, teachers must register their students to your national banking association.

PRACTICE QUESTIONS are available in 24 languages.

The quiz takes place in 2 STEPS:

STEP 1
NATIONAL SELECTIONS
in March 2021 - each country have different dates

The smartest and quickest class from each country will send 2 STUDENTS to the EUROPEAN FINALS IN BRUSSELS – for free!

STEP 2
EUROPEAN FINALS IN BRUSSELS
on Tuesday 20 April, from 11 to 13 CET

European finals will be played on Kahoot!, in English.
Update June 2020: due to the Covid-19 outbreak in Europe, the 2021 European finals of the European Money Quiz will be held only as an online competition on Tuesday 20 April, from 11 to 13 CET, and not as a physical in-person event in Brussels. Other prizes still available.

The European Money Quiz is Europe’s biggest financial literacy contest and attracted nearly half a million game plays this year, up from about 160.000 in 2019, via the Kahoot platform. The quiz was launched in 2017 as an initiative to promote financial education by national banking associations in Europe, under coordination by the European Banking Federation.
The European Money Quiz is one of many activities organised every year during the European Money Week.

FIND YOUR NATIONAL CONTACT POINT

If you are between 13 and 15 years old at the beginning of the school year then you are eligible to take part to the next year edition. Talk to your teacher and ask her or him to reach out the national banking association in your country.
